Today, under the leadership of Maurizio Mastellone and his family, the historic theater has been completely renovated, becoming a hub for festivals, musical events, and shows. Its foyer also hosts Basilico Italia, a concept that combines haute cuisine and cinematic inspiration.
The debut
Founded in the heart of Sorrento, the Cinema Teatro Armida has been one of the historic venues of the International Cinema Meetings for decades, welcoming directors, actors, and critics from around the world.
A place that has contributed to celebrating the seventh art and promoting international cultural dialogue through the universal language of cinema.
A new vision
Starting this summer, the Cinema Teatro Armida will transform into the Blu Theatre: an innovative immersive format that blends flavor, music, and live performances in a unique multisensory experience on the Sorrento Coast.
